McKayla with some of the members of the women’s national team at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Texas!
First Women’s national team camp of 2012 at Karoyli Ranch.
(L-R): Nastia Liukin, Jordyn Wieber, Bridget Sloan, Amanda Jetter, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Sabrina Vega, Brandie Jay, Amelia Hundley, Kyla Ross, Elizabeth Price, Brianna Brown, Rebecca Bross, Kennedy Baker, Brenna Dowell, Gabrielle Douglas, Sarah Finnegan, Lexie Preissman, Kiana Winston, Mykayla Skinner, Madison Desch, McKenzie Wofford, Bailie Key and Katelyn Ohashi.
People calling Nastia a “famewhore”. Well… then again, who doesn’t love attention?
In my opinion Nastia and Shawn are the only ones who deserve the attention. They were the ONLY ONES bringing GOLD home!
Flashback Let’s go back to 2008: Nastia Liukin won all-around gold in Beijing! She brought home 5 medals! (1 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze) and Shawn Johnson won the gold medal on beam! She brought home 4 medals (1 gold, 3 silver) and the others? exactly. Don’t get me wrong I’m one of those who think “go to Olympic games is once-in-a-lifetime” So none of them (Shawn, Nastia, Alicia, Chellsie and Bridget) deserve “another” chance to make it right, Sorry like I said Olympic games is once-in-a-lifetime let other girls the opportunity to shine… Ex. Aly, Wieber, Mckayla, Vega, Bross, Caquatto sisters. etc
Have you seen Komova? Mustafina? Afan? The Russians! our biggest competition and Porgras, the Chinese girls! We need young and fresh people to beat those amazing girls!
So, stop the violence!, think before you speak, don’t be jealous or selfish and move on ♥
Caquatto wins all-around title at 2011 Pan American Games.
“This is just amazing, It feels just as amazing as it did the other day when the whole team won first too. I’m just so happy.”- Bridgey Caquatto
